Lectio Divina:
For the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time
Please read slowly and reflectively.
Slowly count to five at the end of each line.
A READING FROM PSALM 68 (FIRST READER ONLY.)
Fill us with your love, a comforter!/
Let our fears be transformed;/
Let all that keeps us confused and separated, flee!/
Merciful to the poor and kind to the lowly/
Is the comforter that dwells within./
With compassion, are the desolate given a home/
Prisoners are set free./
But those who run from love,/
Live in a parched land./
The beloved will empower us with love,/
As we face the fears within./
Sing to the one whose voice is heard in silence./
