A READING FROM THE LETTER OF PAUL TO THE PHILLIPIANS
(FIRST READER ONLY)
For me to live, is Christ/
And even death is profitable for me./
I desire greatly to leave this life and to be with
Christ/
But if I am to go on living, I shall enjoy fruitful
labour./
I have learned to be content with whatever I have,/
I know what it is to have little,/
And I know what it is to have plenty./
In any and all circumstances/
I have learned the secret of being well fed, and
of going hungry./
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me./
